Thirty seconds at night saves fifteen minutes every frozen morning.

  • Ten magnets hold it flat to the glass — wind doesn’t get under it, snow doesn’t get behind it
  • Side flaps shut inside the doors, so it stays on in a storm and can’t be pulled off
  • Mirror pockets with reflective stripes — mirrors stay clear, the car stays visible at night
  • Thick quilted, double-stitched shell, about 62 × 46 in — sized for most cars, SUVs and pickups

“Minnesota, January, parked on the street. I used to be out there with a scraper at 6:40 every morning with the car running. Now I pull two flaps out of the doors, lift the whole sheet of ice off, and I’m gone. My neighbor bought one the same week.”

The magnetic windshield cover on an SUV in a snowy driveway at dusk

Never scrape a windshield again.

Thirty seconds the night before. In the morning the snow and ice lift off in one sheet, and you drive.

On at night. Off in the morning.

MagLock™ magnets

Ten magnets across the face hold the cover flat to the glass. Wind can’t get under it, snow can’t get behind it.

DoorTuck™ side flaps

The side flaps go inside the front doors and the doors shut on them. It stays on in a storm and can’t be pulled off from outside.

MirrorWrap™ pockets

Quilted pockets slip over both side mirrors, so the mirrors are clear in the morning too. A reflective stripe on each keeps the car visible at night.

QuiltShield™ shell

Thick diamond-quilted padding with double-stitched binding. Snow, ice, frost and freezing rain stay on the cover, not on your glass.

About 62 × 46 inches

158 by 116 cm. Covers the full windshield on most cars, SUVs and pickups, with the mirror pockets landing where the mirrors are.

The windshield cover laid flat showing the magnets, mirror pockets and side flaps
Lifting the cover off a car and the ice coming away in one sheet

Lift. Shake. Drive.

Pull the flaps out of the doors, lift the cover, and the whole night’s snow comes off with it. Clean glass, clear mirrors, no idling.

A man scraping thick ice off a frozen windshield in the dark

The morning you keep having

Fifteen minutes, every frozen morning, from now until March.

Car running to warm up. Gloves off to get the scraper into the corners. Wipers frozen to the glass. Fingers gone, late, and the inside fogged up by the time you sit down. Most people do this forty or fifty times a winter and never think there’s another way.

  • Scraping scratches, idling burns gas, de-icer runs out
  • A tarp blows off; a towel freezes on
A hand pressing a magnet puck onto the windshield glass

MagLock™ magnets

Ten magnets. Flat to the glass.

The cover has ten magnets spread across its face. Throw it on, press the pucks down, and it sits tight against the windshield instead of flapping. No gap for wind to catch, no gap for snow to blow behind, and nothing to tie, hook or wedge.

  • Holds flat on glass and the metal edge of the hood and roof
  • Lifts straight off in the morning — no straps to untie with cold fingers
Slipping the quilted pocket over a side mirror

MirrorWrap™ pockets

The mirrors are the part everyone forgets.

A clear windshield with two iced mirrors is still a scrape. The quilted pockets at each side slip over the mirrors and keep them clear overnight, and they anchor the cover at the sides. The reflective stripe on each one makes a parked car visible to anyone coming down the street in the dark.

  • Mirrors clear in the morning, not just the glass
  • Reflective stripes for street parking
A side flap tucked inside the front door

DoorTuck™ side flaps

Shut the doors on it. It’s not going anywhere.

Tuck the side flaps inside the front doors and close them. Now the cover is held by the magnets and pinched in both doors: a gale won’t lift it, and nobody can pull it off the car from outside without opening a locked door.

  • Stays on in wind and sleet overnight
  • Can’t be pulled off from outside when the doors are locked
Throwing the cover over a windshield at dusk

Thirty seconds

On at night. Off in the morning.

Unfold it, throw it across the glass, pockets over the mirrors, flaps in the doors. That’s the whole job, and it takes less time than finding the scraper. In the morning it’s the reverse, plus one shake to drop the snow, and you’re in a warm, clear car.

  • No tools, no straps, no suction cups
  • Folds into a bundle that lives in the trunk or the door pocket
Close-up of the quilting and double-stitched binding

QuiltShield™ shell

Built for a whole winter outside.

Thin covers freeze stiff, tear at the mirror pockets and let the frost through. This one is thick diamond-quilted padding with a double-stitched binding all the way round, so the ice forms on the outside and the cover comes off soft and in one piece, morning after morning.

  • Snow, ice, frost and freezing rain
  • Double stitching at the edges and pockets, where cheap covers split

Every part earns its place.

Ten magnets

Sewn into the face, spread in a grid. Hold the cover flat to the glass all night.

Reflective stripes

Mirror pockets

Quilted, sized for the mirror. Clear mirrors in the morning, no extra scrape.

The cover folded into a bundle in two hands

Folds small

Shake it, fold it, drop it in the trunk. Out again at night in thirty seconds.

Quilted shell

Frost forms on the cover, not the glass. Double-stitched where it matters.

Two flaps out of the doors and I’m gone

Fits the SUV with room to spare

I measured first because our windshield is wide. It covers the whole thing and the mirror pockets land right on the mirrors. The kids are in a warm car with clear glass instead of watching me scrape.

Stayed on through a 40 mph night

Wind off the lake all night. The one I had before was in the neighbor’s yard by morning. This one: flaps in the doors, magnets down, it didn’t move. Eight inches of snow came off in one lift.

The fifteen minutes I get back

I leave at 5. Scraping in the dark was the worst part of the day. Now it’s thirty seconds the night before. Four stars only because it’s bulky to fold with gloves on; I just toss it in the back seat.

The magnets are the difference

Had a strap-style cover that sagged and let frost form underneath. This sits tight on the glass because of the magnets, so there’s nothing under it in the morning. Took one thick frost and two snows so far, every time clean.

Bought three, nobody scrapes now

Mine, my husband’s, and our daughter’s first car. Everybody does the thirty seconds at night and we all leave on time. The reflective stripes are a nice touch on our dark street.

Freezing rain country

★★★★★

Ice came off in one piece

Freezing rain is the one a scraper can’t beat. Lifted the cover and the whole ice sheet came with it, glass underneath was dry. The quilting is thick enough that the ice doesn’t bond to the fabric.

Gift for her dad

★★★★☆

The only gift he actually uses

Dad is 74 and refused to stop scraping. He uses this every night now and brags about it. Four stars because the first morning he forgot the mirror pockets and had to scrape those; after that, perfect.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers

Will it fit my car?

The cover is about 62 inches wide and 46 inches tall (158 by 116 cm), which covers the windshield on most cars, SUVs and pickups. Measure your glass corner to corner and compare. Very wide windshields on large vans or box trucks may exceed it; if it doesn’t fit, send it back within 30 days.

Will it blow off?

Ten magnets hold the face flat to the glass, the mirror pockets anchor the sides, and the side flaps shut inside the front doors. With the flaps in the doors it stays on in wind and sleet, and it can’t be pulled off from outside while the doors are locked.

Does the ice really come off in one piece?

Yes. Snow, frost and freezing rain form on the outside of the quilted cover instead of on the glass. In the morning you lift the cover and the layer comes with it. Give it a shake, fold it, and the windshield underneath is clear.

Do the magnets scratch the paint?

The magnets are sewn into the cover and sit against the glass and the metal edge of the hood and roof. Press them down on clean surfaces and lift straight up in the morning; don’t drag the cover across the paint.

Does it work on a dry windshield, or only with snow coming?

Either. Put it on any night a frost is possible. If nothing falls, you take it off a dry, clear windshield in ten seconds.

Using it

How do I put it on?

Unfold it, lay it across the windshield from the roof edge to the hood edge, press the magnet pucks down, slip the pockets over both mirrors, tuck the side flaps inside the front doors and close them. Thirty seconds.

How do I take it off?

Open the doors to free the flaps, pull the pockets off the mirrors, lift the cover from the top edge and let the snow slide off. Shake, fold, go.

Where do I keep it during the day?

It folds to a bundle. Trunk, back seat or a door pocket. If it’s wet, let it dry open at home when you can.

Does it cover the side and rear windows?

No. It covers the windshield and the two side mirrors. It is not a full car cover.

The offer

How does Buy 2, Get 1 Free work?

Choose the 3-cover option and you pay for two: $139.98 for three covers, $46.66 each. One for each car in the household, or one to give away.

Can I use it in summer?

It’s built for snow, ice and frost. On a hot day it will shade the glass and keep the cabin cooler, but it’s sold as a winter cover.

Is it a gift?

For anyone who parks outside in winter, it’s the one thing they’ll use every morning until spring. It ships folded in a compact bundle.

Service & support
