Silk Peptide EGF Intensive Smoothing Toner

Ampoule ingredients in a 300 ml toner bottle, so the peptide step is the one you stop rationing. Skin reads smoother and pressed flat, twice a day.

Why an ordinary toner does nothing

Most toners are water, a humectant, a preservative and a scent. They wet the skin, the water evaporates, and thirty seconds later the surface is where it started. The step feels productive because it is cold and it is on a cotton pad. It is not doing any work.

Which means every active in your routine is being carried by a 30 ml serum you are rationing, and under-dosing is the one thing peptides cannot survive. They are not dramatic ingredients. They are cumulative ones. Used twice a week in tiny amounts, they do very little; used twice a day at a real volume, they are the least glamorous reliable thing in skincare.

This bottle moves the actives into the step you never ration. That is the entire argument for it.

Full ingredient list

The headline deck: 30 peptides including copper tripeptide-1, palmitoyl pentapeptide-4, palmitoyl tripeptide-1, acetyl tetrapeptide-3, myristoyl pentapeptide-4 and acetyl hexapeptide-8. EGF as sh-oligopeptide-1. Seven ceramide types carried in capsules. Eight molecular weights of hyaluronic acid. Silk water, hydrolyzed silk, silk amino acids, silk extract. Soluble collagen, atelocollagen, procollagen and hydrolyzed elastin. Niacinamide second on the list.

No added fragrance. No silicones. 81 ingredients in total.

The mica, titanium dioxide and tin oxide are what give the base its faint light-catch. All three are mineral, all three are standard in Korean essence textures, and none of them stay visible on skin.

Which bottle to take, and what it costs per use

300 ml at roughly 2 ml a go, twice a day, is about 150 applications per bottle, a little over two months. Every tier below is measured against the same number: $47.61, the list price this bottle carries on Amazon.

BottlesPricePer bottlePer use
1$34.99$34.9923¢
2$59.99$30.0020¢
3$79.99$26.6618¢

Two is the honest answer for most people. Peptides are a cumulative ingredient and one bottle is roughly one guarantee window, so a single bottle tests it and two bottles actually run the experiment. Three is for anyone who already knows they like it.

Shipping and the 60-Night Silk Promise

Shipping. Orders leave within one business day. US delivery is typically 3 to 6 business days. Free on the 2 and 3 bottle tiers. Tracking is emailed the moment the label is scanned, not when it is created.

The promise. Use it morning and night for 60 nights, which is roughly one bottle. If your skin does not feel smoother to the touch, email us and we refund the order in full. You do not ship anything back and you keep what is left in the bottle. We would rather eat one bottle than argue with you about your own face.

What we carry. Sealed, batch-coded SUNGBOON EDITOR stock. Nothing decanted, nothing relabelled. The batch code on the base of the bottle is checkable against the manufacturer.

Storage and shelf life

Keep the cap on and keep it out of direct sun. Ordinary bathroom temperature is fine. Do not refrigerate it: the ceramide capsules are an oil phase and cold makes them sluggish and harder to break under fingertip pressure.

Use within 12 months of opening. Unopened, go by the date printed on the base.

A little settling is normal. The capsules are suspended, not dissolved, so if the bottle has been standing a while you will see them drift toward the bottom. Roll it gently between your palms before you pour. Do not shake it hard, because that ruptures capsules inside the bottle and you lose the delivery you paid for.

The gold isn't glitter.
It's ceramide.

Everyone's first reaction to this bottle is the same one: pretty, but I am not putting a shimmer toner on my face. Fair. So here is what those gold flecks actually are. They are ceramide capsules suspended in the liquid, and they break the moment you press them into skin. Nothing is left on the surface except the barrier they lay down.

Ceramide capsules that break on contact
30 peptides plus EGF in a daily step
68% silk water, so it absorbs without tack
300 ml, about 150 applications a bottle
Made for dull, mature and sensitive skin
No added fragrance, no silicones

What's Inside

Raw silk cocoons and loose silk filaments on cream stone

Silk Water & Hydrolyzed Silk

Sixty-eight percent of this formula is silk-derived water, not plain water. Its amino acid composition is close to the proteins already in your skin, which is why it goes on gentle and does not sit on top of the face the way a standard toner does.

Spherical gold ceramide capsules suspended in clear serum

Gold Ceramide Capsules

Seven types of ceramide, carried in capsules rather than dissolved into the liquid. The pearl-gold colour comes from the capsules themselves, not from added pearl. They rupture under fingertip pressure and form the moisture barrier that holds everything else in.

A droplet of clear serum drawing fine glossy filaments

30 Peptides & EGF

Copper tripeptide, palmitoyl pentapeptide, acetyl tetrapeptide, acetyl hexapeptide-8 and twenty-six more, alongside sh-oligopeptide-1. Together they support the skin's own renewal process and improve the look of fine lines and elasticity.

A small mound of fine white crystalline powder with a droplet at its base

Niacinamide

Second on the ingredient list, which tells you the concentration is real. It strengthens the barrier, evens out tone and helps keep oil in check, and it is the reason the finish reads as clarity rather than shine.

A cluster of clear water-filled gel spheres of different sizes

8 Weights of Hyaluronic Acid

Eight molecular sizes, from crosspolymer down to hydrolyzed. Different sizes settle at different depths, so hydration is not all sitting in the top layer waiting to evaporate off by lunchtime.

Silk Peptide EGF Intensive Smoothing Toner.

Most toners are a water step. They rinse, they evaporate, and they hand every bit of the actual work to a thirty millilitre serum you have been rationing since March. This one moves the work forward. It is an ampoule deck poured into a 300 ml toner bottle: thirty peptides, EGF, seven ceramide types and eight weights of hyaluronic acid, carried in a base that is sixty-eight percent silk water. You use it twice a day, on a full cotton pad, without counting drops. That is the whole idea. Peptides only do anything if you actually use enough of them.

How to Use Silk Peptide EGF Toner

After cleansing, saturate a cotton round and sweep it over the face, or pour a pool into your palms and press it in. Press, do not rub. The capsules need the pressure to break. Use it morning and night, then carry on with the rest of your routine.

For dry patches, soak two or three cotton rounds and lay them over the area for five minutes.

For best results: use within 12 months of opening.

What People Notice

Not a transformation story. Three things buyers mention over and over in the reviews, in the order they tend to mention them.

"It is thicker than most toners and has a shimmer look to the liquid which made me skeptical at first, however, it does not leave the sparkling shimmer on your face."

Macro of a cheek showing smooth, evenly hydrated skin texture in side light

Smoother to the touch

The first thing people report is tactile, not visual. Skin reads as pressed flat rather than plumped up, usually from the first few uses.

Close macro of a jawline backlit with a smooth continuous sheen and no glitter

A glass finish, not a sparkle

The light sits in a single clean band instead of scattering. Reviewers describe it as a glass-like finish, and they note it stays natural under daylight.

Macro of fingertips lifting cleanly away from skin with no tacky thread

It disappears

The complaint that kills most peptide toners is tack. This one is thicker in the bottle and lighter on the face, which is what the silk water base is for.

"I use this as part of my night routine. It's very gentle and leaves my skin silky soft with a glass like finish, even by itself. It is thicker than most toners and has a shimmer look to the liquid which made me skeptical at first, however, it does not leave the sparkling shimmer on your face, leaves a very natural shine finish."

What Happens To The Gold

Three seconds, start to finish. This is the part that decides whether a shimmer toner is a gimmick or a delivery system.

Intact gold ceramide capsules floating whole in a film of clear serum on skin 1

They arrive whole

Pour it out and the capsules are still intact, round and separate. That is why the liquid looks the way it does in the bottle.

Gold capsules bursting and blooming under the edge of a fingertip 2

Pressure breaks them

Press with flat fingers and they rupture and bloom outward. Rubbing skips this, which is why the instructions say press.

Skin covered in a continuous even satin film with no gold particles remaining 3

Nothing is left on top

What remains is a continuous film, not a scatter of flecks. The gold is gone. The barrier it carried is not.

FAQ

Is the gold shimmer glitter?
No. The pearl-gold you can see is ceramide capsules suspended in the liquid, which is also where the formula's seven ceramide types are carried. The manufacturer states it plainly: the pearl-like golden texture comes from ceramide capsules, not artificial pearls. The faint light-catch in the base itself comes from mica and titanium dioxide, both mineral, both standard in Korean essence textures.
Will it leave sparkle on my face?
It does not. The capsules break under fingertip pressure and spread into a continuous film rather than sitting on the surface as particles. The most-quoted line in the reviews is exactly this: it has a shimmer look in the bottle which makes people skeptical, and it does not leave the sparkling shimmer on your face. The finish reads as a natural sheen, not a highlighter.
Where does it go in my routine?
Straight after cleansing, before serum. Saturate a cotton round and sweep, or pour into your palms and press it in. Press rather than rub, because the capsules need the pressure to rupture. Morning and night. Follow with whatever you normally use next.
Will it pill under sunscreen or makeup?
This is the failure mode of most peptide toners and it is what the silk water base is designed around. The formula is sixty-eight percent silk-derived water with an amino acid profile close to skin protein, which is why it absorbs rather than films. Give it thirty seconds to settle before your next layer and it sits flat. Reviewers describe it as thick in the bottle and light on the face.
Is it okay for sensitive skin?
It is formulated for it. The manufacturer names dull, mature and sensitive skin specifically, and the formula carries no added fragrance and no silicones. That said, it contains eighty-one ingredients including niacinamide and a large peptide complex, so if your barrier is currently compromised, patch test on the jaw for two nights before going twice daily.
How long does one bottle last?
300 ml at roughly two millilitres a go, twice a day, is about 150 applications, which is a little over two months of consistent use. Most toners in this ingredient class ship at 150 ml. That size difference is the entire reason the cost per use lands where it does.
Is this authentic SUNGBOON EDITOR stock?
Yes. Sealed, batch-coded bottles as they leave the manufacturer. Nothing is decanted, relabelled or repackaged. It is the same 300 ml bottle sold at Ulta Beauty, and the batch code on the base is checkable against the manufacturer.

The 60-Night Silk Promise

Use it morning and night for sixty nights, which is roughly one bottle. If your skin does not feel smoother to the touch, tell us and we refund you in full. No return shipping, and you keep the bottle. The guarantee window and the bottle are the same length on purpose.
