Deep stimulation, from the core out

Five reasons women buy these

Pick the one that sounds like you. Each is a different muscle problem with a different mechanism — and a different honest timeline.

Desk-flat glutes Postpartum Pelvic floor Thigh slackness Gym plateau

Glutes that switched off from sitting

"Eight hours at a desk and they just stopped firing. I'd squat and feel it entirely in my quads."

4 weeks · Passive shaping · Use it at the desk
How it works

Prolonged sitting keeps the glutes lengthened and inactive until the brain quietly stops recruiting them — the pattern lifters call glute amnesia. EMS bypasses that entirely: the pulse goes straight to the motor nerve, so the muscle contracts whether or not your body remembers how to ask it to. Repetition is what re-establishes the pathway.

Postpartum, and no hour to give

"Everything flattened out. I'm not getting to a gym this year — that's just the truth of it."

6–8 weeks · Hands-free · Wear it during chores
How it works

Pregnancy stretches the glutes and the pelvic floor and leaves both slow to re-engage. Gentle EMS re-activates those muscle groups without loading your joints or needing floor time you don't have. Start at the lowest level and build. Clear it with your doctor first if you're less than six weeks post-delivery or had a C-section — this is muscle training, not medical care.

A pelvic floor you can't consciously find

"I've been told to do Kegels for years. I have never once been confident I was doing them right."

6–8 weeks · Automatic contractions · Dedicated mode
How it works

The single hardest thing about Kegels is that most people cannot reliably isolate the muscle — so the reps get done wrong, or not at all. EMS removes the guesswork: the pulse contracts the muscle group directly, at a set rhythm, for the full session. It strengthens and trains those muscles. It is not a treatment for any medical condition — if you have symptoms, see a pelvic floor physio.

Inner thighs that never respond

"I can train everything else. The inside of my legs stays exactly the same no matter what I do."

6 weeks · Dedicated shaping mode · Zones 5–8
How it works

The adductors are hard to isolate without machines most home setups don't have — most leg work recruits quads and hamstrings first and leaves them barely touched. Four of the eight zones sit over the inner thigh so the contraction lands where your own training keeps missing.

You already lift and want the finisher

"I squat heavy twice a week and still can't get an isolated glute pump out of it."

2–4 weeks · Post-workout finisher · Levels 14–20
How it works

Heavy compounds recruit the big movers and let the deeper fibres coast. Running a high-intensity mode as a finisher — or on an active recovery day — adds contraction volume to muscle your session already primed, without adding joint load. This is the use case where EMS is genuinely least controversial: it complements training, it doesn't imitate it.

The science behind the sculpt

What a pulse reaches that a rep doesn't

EMS drives the motor nerve directly. That's the whole mechanism — and the reason it works on muscle your own effort struggles to recruit.

Reaches deeper

Voluntary movement recruits whatever your nervous system is already good at recruiting. An electrical pulse doesn't negotiate — it fires the motor nerve whether or not the pattern is habitual.

Repeats more

Twenty minutes delivers thousands of contractions across eight zones with no rest between sets, no form to hold and no fatigue ceiling. Volume is the part EMS is genuinely good at.

Two groups at once

Three channels drive glutes, inner thigh and pelvic floor in the same session. Your own training almost never hits all three — and never simultaneously.

Why this one

Four things it does better

Gel-free

No conductive gel, no water, no sticky pads to replace. Put them on and press start. Body lotion helps in dry weather, nothing else.

Twenty minutes

Lying down, sitting, standing, at a desk. The session fits inside a phone call, which is the only reason anyone stays consistent for six weeks.

Light and warmth

Thirteen 630nm LEDs and three heat settings over the abdomen — running while the EMS works. The premium pairs in this category don't include either.

Twenty levels

Start at 1 and actually feel it before you commit. Eight-level devices jump too coarsely — most people bail at the step that hurts.

One device, six programs

Pick the mode by the goal

Not a single waveform with the volume turned up. Six programs across three channels — the premium alternative ships two.

MODE 01

Relaxation

Low-frequency warm-up that wakes the muscle before the working modes. Where every first session should start.

Beginners · Day one
MODE 02

Shaping

Glutes and pelvic floor together at a moderate rhythm. The default on a busy day.

Glutes + floor
MODE 03

Muscle building

Longer contraction holds aimed at the glutes for lift and firmness. The shaping workhorse.

Lift · Firmness
MODE 04

Aerobic

Faster cycling, shorter holds, sustained across the full session. Best paired with the heat setting.

Endurance
MODE 05

Soothing

Gentle pulsing for rest days and after a hard leg session, or whenever a working mode is too much.

Recovery days
MODE 06

Deep shaping

Targets the inner thigh through zones 5–8 for smoother leg lines. The one your own training keeps missing.

Swipe the table

About those last two rows: the $319 brand has FDA clearance and we don't — that's a real difference and we're not going to bury it in a footnote. Clearance is a regulatory filing about how a device may be marketed; it is not a measurement of how many zones, modes or levels you get. We're new, they're eight years in. Everything above those two rows is where we'd rather compete.

How to use it

Three steps, twenty minutes

Put them on dry

No gel, no water. In dry weather or on dry skin, a thin layer of unscented lotion improves conductivity and comfort. Clip the control pod onto the waistband at your hip.

Start at level 1 — seriously

Choose a mode, then climb one level at a time until the contraction is firm but comfortable. Most people land between 6 and 12 in week one. Going up too fast is the single most common first-session mistake, and it's the reason devices like this end up in a drawer. It should never sting.

Twenty minutes, 2–3× a week

Lie down, sit at a desk, fold laundry. Rest a day between sessions — the muscle adapts on the off day, same as any training.

Questions

Everything worth asking

Does this replace working out?

No, and we'd rather say so up front than in FAQ #6. EMS produces real muscle contractions, but they're unloaded — there's no external resistance. That builds tone and re-activates muscle your body has stopped recruiting. It does not build the strength, the bone density or the cardiovascular benefit of actually training.

It works best stacked on top of what you already do: as a finisher after legs, on rest days, or as the thing that keeps the muscle switched on during a stretch of life where the gym isn't happening.

Will it make me lose fat?

No. EMS contracts muscle. It has no meaningful effect on the fat layer sitting over that muscle. If there's softness over the glute, this firms and lifts what's underneath — the layer itself responds to a calorie deficit and nothing else.

Any EMS product telling you it melts fat, breaks down deposits or erases cellulite is describing something the mechanism doesn't do.

How long until I see anything?

You'll feel the contraction on day one and often a mild soreness the next morning — that's the muscle having worked, and it's the honest early signal.

Visible firmness and lift takes 4–6 weeks at 2–3 sessions per week. Inner-thigh and pelvic floor changes trend slower, closer to 6–8. Anyone promising a visible difference in seven days is selling you the soreness.

Do I need gel or water?

No — the electrodes are gel-free and work on dry skin. In winter, or if your skin runs dry, a thin layer of unscented body lotion before wearing gives a more even current and a more comfortable session.

What does it actually feel like?

A deep, rhythmic tightening — the muscle pulling in on its own, holding, releasing. Strange for the first minute, then unremarkable.

Start at level 1 and climb slowly. Go up one level at a time. The most common first-session mistake is jumping straight to a high level, which is startling enough that people put the device in a drawer.

Can I use it postpartum?

Many women do, and it's one of the main reasons this category exists. But check with your doctor first — particularly if you're under six weeks post-delivery, had a C-section, or have any diagnosed pelvic floor condition.

We're selling muscle training equipment, not postpartum medical care, and the distinction matters for you more than it does for us.

Who should not use this?

Do not use if you have a pacemaker, implanted defibrillator or any implanted electronic device. Do not use if you are pregnant. Do not use over broken skin, an active rash, or a known malignancy.

Talk to a doctor first if you have epilepsy, a heart condition, a metal implant in the treatment area, or are being treated for any pelvic condition. This applies to every EMS device, not just this one.

How do I wash them?
  1. Remove the control pod first — it isn't waterproof.
  2. Hand wash in water no hotter than 40°C / 104°F with a neutral detergent.
  3. Three to five minutes, gently. No wringing, no machine, no dry cleaning.
  4. Press out the water and air dry away from direct heat.
What's in the box, and what if it isn't for me?

The shorts, the rechargeable control pod, and a charging cable. The pod releases from its base with one press and charges separately — which is also how you wash the shorts. 30 days to send it back for a full refund — which, given results take 4–6 weeks, is deliberately more time than it takes to know whether you'll actually use the thing twice a week.

Six weeks, or send them back

Results take 4–6 weeks, so a 7-day window would be worthless to you. Thirty days is long enough to find out whether you'll actually use them twice a week — which is the only thing that determines whether this works.
